    Hey All
I started a 'new member' thread in the 5th Gen section, in hindsight I should have created the thread here:Der:

I'm pretty excited, this weekend I put a deposit down on a '00 VFR with 50k kms (30k miles) on the clock. I am new to VFR's but I just love the V4 engine noise and I definitely prefer not to have VTEC (gear driven cam whine is the cherry on top)

Been riding bikes for only about 18 months now, rode a VTR250 for my learners period and the VFR is my first 'big' bike. I was considering a Firestorm or the VFR and whilst the 'Storm is a fun bike that makes a nice noise, I preferred the refinement of the V4 engine on longer rides.

    G'day dnbosiris

Great choice of model and colour, pretty much the same as mine!
I hope you enjoy riding your bike (especially when the weather clears!), they are a great ride.
I'm in Mandurah by the way, may see you out 'n' about sometime. What suburb are you in?
