    Oh no! That's a huge bummer. My last day at Chuckwalla, the Triumph almost failed tech. The guy checking my bike was new and when he looked at my front pads, he freaked out. Fortunately, I was able to get a second opinion and they let me out with front pads that still had about half their useful life remaining. The first guy was so worried about my brakes that he called a third inspector over who confirmed they were fine. (I had the front tire mounted the day before by the motorcycle mechanic who setup my suspension and he had also inspected the bike). This guy even found me in the paddock half way through the day to ask about my brakes. He reminded me that they were half gone. To which I replied meant they were still half there.

    Right?! It works both ways tech dude, halfway is exactly that, still there to perform for another 50% of their life!
