On Sunday, September 21, saw a YELLOW VFR heading eastbound on route 46 in Budd Lake, New Jersey at the intersection of Rt. 46 and Smithtown Road. He was with 2 other bikes - a BMW and not sure about the 3rd.

About once a week I see a red 5/6th gen bike going north on 805 in Kearny Mesa as Im coming south, in the afternoon. My hours are kinda hit & miss, but it seems to be right about 3:00 or so.

While I have seen a number of VFR's here in Tucson I finally had my first official "Catch and Release." I was headed N on Campbell in my truck on Sept 18 after picking up a good bottle of Sake for my camping trip and HEARD a great sound that was coming from a 1996 red VFR. I followed him into a parking lot and chatted with him. He was 20-something, a student and part-time restaurant server. I forgot his screen name but he said he used to contribute here. He spends most of his time on the local sportrider website. It was neat to talk to a fellow owner about various things like painting his bike. Nice kid.

Saw a white 6th gen with hard bags pass me on my FZ6 in Deals Gap on Sunday 9/21 right as it was getting dark. I had seen him in Robbinsville, and when they pulled over to wait for their buddies, I stopped and talked to them. The guy on the FZ6 was very interested in mine since it was naked and he was thinking of going that route.

I just saw a 4th gen rolling through Susanville with soft bags next to a BMW.
Why is it always when I'm going the other way on a mission?
I'd love to get these folks to sign up here if I could stop and talk.

Went for a little stroll today. Logged about 185 miles and saw two viffers riding around San Diego County, CA.

First sighting....a 2007 RWB 6th gen, going down Banner Grade on the 78, coming from Julian. 9:45am 9/28/08.

Second sighting.....a yellow 5th gen. I saw you riding with a pack of bikes on the 78 a few miles south of Santa Ysabel around 10:15am 9/28/08

Couple pics from my cell on my journey down into the desert!

The yellows were 2000 here in the US.
What a shame he had not enough pride in the Yellow to know its' birthday.
    Maybe it was not his.

Today, Sunday 9/28 in Colorado (mountains): I was traveling east on I-70 and passed a red Gen 5 VFR800 right after he passed by the exit for HWY 6 to Golden at about 1410 (2:10pm). Rider was in the left lane, mostly black gear and I believe had a passenger with them. Anyone?

That may have been the same person I saw since that person was with a BMW as well. The BMW looked like one of the fully faired K bikes, but I'm not sure.

    KC-10 FE out...

    Fun Ride Blues.....

    anybody see me today?

I was parked on the side of Foxen Canyon Road having a swell conversation with a real nice CHP....officer Kendall, I think it was. Almost made it to the 101.
100 mile ride through the twisties & get stopped at mile 91.

Oh, wait.......left the Viffer at home & rode the K12.
you probably didn't see me then.........

Anybody know any lawyers in Santa Maria?

    Saw a couple recently...

Yesterday afternoon saw a red 6th gen coming down Iron Pointe road in Folsom, CA.
Previously on Saturday the 27th (Sept) I saw a candy red (2007?) Viffer in the Curry Village parking lot in Yosemite. Nice color combo.
Yosemite was sweet; took Hwy 41 from Fresno on my way back up from L.A. Usually I go 120 from Sacramento so this was a nice change-up.
    Anyone here?
