    Any Eastern WA VFR'ers?

Sounds like a fair number of VFR lovers in the great PNW, anyone on the east side of Washington State-the dry side that is? I sure don't see many VFR's...and I am ALWAYS looking!!

Spokane huh? thats east all right. Might, not to turn you away from this great site, But try also PNWriders.com they have a strong Spokane following and I'm sure there's some there that have VFRs too. So, you ever get this way?

Hello! New VFR800 owner in Keizer, OR. Bought the bike with 0 miles on Thursday and have 354 miles on it after yesterday's ride. I have to tell you RVFR, I found a better road then the Mist ride! The road is chip sealed but in good condition and barely wider then one lane, but is soo much fun. And almost no traffic, we passed only two cars. And talk about elevation change!! Have your curiosity up yet?

I'm still working it here on my end as I just found out I'll be getting back from a family road trip from Wyoming on the 18, I'm still planning on going down on the 19 stay a night and ride back sunday but something in the back of my mind says I might be pushing it, but after being gone for the better part of 10 days with out a ride I'll be more than ready to haul ass on down. Route for me is easy, Clatskaine#47 then to #53 heading on down to the Miami river road till it ends at 101 for the rest of the way.

    wvfr,
that reminds me of when I was a kid. My dad had a harley and I rode directly behind him wearing a childs novelty football helmet, my sister rode in front of him with a 3/4 shell old sparkly helmet, and my step-mom was on the back seat. my sister jokes now and says we had to coordinate which way we'd turn our heads cause we all had to face the same way. I used to nod off for a while then wake up in the same position. :) Probably not the safest, but that's when kids stood in the front seat while driving. As the comedian said, back in those days, kids weren't too good to fly out the front window with the rest of the family!

Have a trip planned this weekend to Wallowa Lake with a side trip to Rattlesnake Grade and maybe Old Spiral if our butts can stand it. My parents live in Wallowa and my sister lives next to the water tank at the bottom of Old Spiral Hwy so it makes sense to make the loop and see the family.

Just got a 99 and I'll take off Saturday with ya, I just wanted a couple of weeks to get use to the bikes handling, tires and brakes so the 19th would be perfect. And by then some of my Mods will be in.

Did hubby have a hard time keeping up on his ZX-11 ? Please be careful, you might give him a inferiority complex, us males are sensitive like that...
