Hey Folks. I am going to replace the Oil Cooler lines on my 03 VFR 800 as they have started to corrode badly. I managed to pickup a set fairly handy on eBay.

Has anyone done this before? I assume its a simple straight swap out and replace the O-Rings but should I pre-fill the lines with oil first before fitting ?

What happens to all the air trapped inside the oil lines (kinda feel dumb asking this question lol)

I am going to do a filter/oil change on the bike so want to do this at the same time.

    Cheers!

Just replace O rings, install new lines and fill oil.
Once motor turns over lines will fill.
