Quick Google search from 'motorcycle lithium battery' resulted in many hits, like this one: http://antigravitybatteries.com/ag-1201/.

I installed the stock forks and front wheel today. I'll post some pictures tomorrow.

If anyone near Toronto wants to talk about purchasing the inverted forks, triple clamps, dual calipers (3 cylinders I think), clip ons, and wheel... Let me know. It fits as pictured above.

I would also be willing to trade for a stock setup if they are better then what I currently have on the bike.

Also the fender and disks of course.

I just realized I'm going to end up with a lot of parts. I'll take offers from anyone. Shipment will be Canada post or fedex, whatever is cheapest.

I also have two sets of stock fork tubes, both sets are straight.. No rust or pitting.

Too bad it isn't a VF1000F, I'd take you up on some of those parts.

Are the steering stems the same? If they were it could fit. They were originally from a gsxr. I pulled out the gsxr steering stem and fitted a vfr stem and it fit.

Here's a picture of what she currently looks like. I removed the subframe and instrument frame to get powder coated. Dropped it off today.

I always like this look. Looks mean.

Btw, I discovered that I'll be able to get the engine cases and valve covers powder coated with a wrinkled surface and a roughly similar color. A number of powder coater manufactorers have bronze colored powder coat.

Also discovered the mice were chewing at some of my wires near the back, and nibbled away the rubber covers. Bought a used wire harness for $15 to get what I need.

Thanks, but I'm good. I have the original red one. I touched up a couple of small scratches today. That color rite paint is a good match.

Yeah LOL... the exhaust pipes are, but I sold the canister for $20 this weekend. I'm going to toss the pipes this garabage day. The guy bought the canister and all the hardware. So we're both happy. Got to figure out how to update the classified post. Not sue how to turn it off?

Thats a shame. There has to be someone that wants a genuine race header for an early VFR.

Got the subframe and front instrument panel frame back from the powder coater. He did a really great job! I spent a few hours putting the front frame and wiring on. Boy those wires had me scratching me head, but I finally got it right.

Wasn't sure of the best place for the throttle cables. Finally settled for above the frame just below the idiot lights? If anyone wants to post a pic of where they have their cables routed it would be appreciated.

Forgot to mention. He is also powder coating a spare set of engine covers for me. We found an exact match that is also wrinkled the same. I'll pass along the manufactorers name and powder color. I think it's Rockwell Bronze... From Prizmatic powders. I spent about 20 minutes going over the book... It's an exact match in color and texture.

Finished the rebuild this spring. It's better than I remember back in 86.
