Resurection VF500F

    But an old VF500F this spring all it needed was a clutch and some brakes.
    It had a Vance&Hines exhaust on it but the mufflers were trashed. I put on some cheap Chinese mufflers and they work and sound great.
    I have put on about 2300 miles since
    May 9th

    Hello Steve, I resurrected my 86 500 this year. It needed a lot of TLC. Almost 10,000 miles since February. Best wishes.

    You must live somewhere warmer than I do.
    I also have an 86 vf500f I bought for parts, but have discovered the engine is OK and the rest of the bike is serviceable. In the spring I think I'll have 2 bikes.
    Good thing I'm retired.
