I choose to ride with Fieldsheer, Alpinestars and Sidi Boots. Nice dress pants in this photo too. LOL

The Fieldsheer product is as good as anything I have ever seen, even the BMW Motorad $$$$$$$$ gear. The internal CE armor is really substantial and it has a liner for cold weather outings. Of course I do have the pants but I can't find a pic.

That sure doesn't look like the bustling town of Kempville?

If you are through growing, get a Stitch and be good for twenty years. Machine washable. Made in USA! Almost bulletproof. I am on my second.

It's funny, people made fun of me because my gear matched my bike so I figured that it was over now but apparently I was wrong again. I may switch to a black jacket but I don't want to loose the high visibility that the bright red one provides.

I look forward to seeing your new gear Long! I helped a buddy shop for riding gear last year and he ended up buying Motad gear after trying on a bunch of other stuff. I think he dropped $2k or there abouts but at least it fit correctly and will last him a long long time. He looked funny on the Hypermotard but a year later is is on a 2010 GS1200 BMW (30 years) so all is now well in the universe.

I tought I was done growing and then I put on 10 lbs at Christmas!!! :potstir:

I have another red perforated leather jacket that I only use for doing burnouts in front of the house or weelies on back roads. It's a rare Honda OEM piece of clothing history, maybe even collectible? So if the Fieldsheer is my responsible jacket, this is my hooligan gear. I don't know why though because I don't think this is as good a piece. Must be the crests! I also have a one piece "Spyke" road race suit for track days but the extra ten pounds may mean that thsi won't work for me anymore. Time for a Bowflex?

I've got an Icon motorhead jacket and a joe Rocket Ballistic 2.0 mesh jacket. Both are good. I found that the Icon is especially well made. I had a small issue with the quality of the Joe rocket however. The stitching on the belt loop actually started to tear off after only a couple of rides. Other then that, no issues.

I have one of these as well. Functions well as a 3 season. Comfortable and lots of padding. No real complaints.

I got a NEXGEN jacket from a friend for dirt cheap. Not a perfect fit but it was cheap and it held up well after a low-side. That particular jacket has no venting so it was too hot to wear above 80 degrees. That's why I bought a Joe Rocket Phoenix 5.0.

Love it! Perfect for summer riding as well as late spring/fall in Indiana. And the best part about this jacket was the TALL size options. I tried on many 'budget' jackets and all were baggy on me. At 6'2" 175# the JR Phoenix 5.0 Medium Tall size fits me like a glove! Look for my detailed review from my handle on Amazon (though I bought it from motorcycle-superstore.com).

I have a joe rocket, icon and tour master I feel they will all be good due to the ballistic material and the armor. I was on a roundabout last spring in a light drizzle and gave my cb some gas just as I was coming out of the roundabout and I hit the painted arrow and went down I was only going about 15k at the time but there isn't even a scratch on my Joe rocket jacket just a bit of road rash on my gloves

IMO what is needed is a wetsuit in dayglo colors with some ATGATT type armour/padding and for a few of us maybe a girdle from one of the mancave type clothing stores.

I have a Joe rocket Sonic 2.0 (perforated leather) and Joe rocket reactor(I think, the one with half leather and half mesh). I like the sonic. It offers protection and the perforation helps with the TX heat..
