Pretty solid. The 96" HD is amazing as well, especially w/ a PowerCommander and Rush pipes!:caked:

Belt driven cams...narrow valve included angle + flat top piston looks to me like an interference angle engine...I understand the need to attenuate noise and valvetrain harmonics, but that design would nerve me out too much.

Great job... An "updated" design & it's still based on 1930/40's technology. In other words, who other than bling'd out chopper riders will care? Not this guy...

There seems to be a bit of a departure from from the blinged out chopper crowd @ least by some builders. They are starting to play around w/ big cubed v-twin cafe bikes, which are very intersting to say the least. I like alot of the sport inspired bikes that Roland Sands has built, Jesse James built a VTX1800 cafe bike that was financed by Honda(current article up on Kneeslider I beleive) that was pretty cool. Its just nice to see that crowd expanding their horizons a bit, because not everyone that likes custom bikes wants one thats 10' long.

Roland Sands is the ONLY custom chopper builder I would even remotely consider giving my hard earned cash too. I like watching the chopper shows just because I like workmanship. I appreciate a person taking raw materials and creating something out of it. 99% of the "motorcycles" these guys build are nothing more than driveway candy. Roland Sands is the only one of the bunch that actually builds a bike meant to be ridden. The rest build a bike meant to be owned & looked at.
