I will be doing a fork seal replacement and fork oil change tomorrow afternoon and I need to know exactly how much fluid to put in each fork. My bike is a '98 VFR800. I already have 1 liter of Bel-Ray HVI 10wt on hand. I am hoping that will be enough. Please share your knowledge. Thanks!

I would check the manual but good rule of thumb is 150 mm from top of fork tube to fluid level with spring out and fork all the way down.

SLOVFR was the one that helped me do mine and we used less than that. I think you'll be fine. You'll most likely have quite a bit of extra...

for anyone else brought here in the current year.
    its 457ml
this can be confirmed by measuring 130mm from the top of the tube with the fork spring removed, the leg fully compressed and the damper rod fully inserted
