Hi everyone, just found this site.
I'm a big fan of all bikes but have a definate sweet spot for Honda V Fours.
Am currently fixing up a VF500F2 that was given to me. It is in a very sorry state but complete. Just going to take a lot of elbow grease to get roadworthy again.

To give you an idea of what it's like, the whole of the top of the tank is solid rust and had to take a mallet to the brake calipers to wheel it into the van.
Saying that last night managed to get it to try to fire, few puffs of smoke, so looking good so far. It stood in someones garden outside for 7 years. Thing a carb strip down might be in order as fuel came out of one of the carbs.

vf500f2? Does it have the f2 forks wheels and swingarm? Do you have any photos?

Have fun, and welcome. I'm new also.

FYI - The VF500F2 is just only a designation used in the UK and has nothing to do with a CBR or it's parts.

Thanks Jamie for the clarification. I can't keep up with the European designations.
