Well my 1st time at the drag strip with the big girl. Me and my dad went to Orlando speed world. Dad was on his rc51 and was having a hard time launching. Both of my runs were 10.9's at 128. Dad was at 12.5's at 109. I'm happy with my times. Dad was less than pleased.

Me and my friend just went to the track about 2 months ago . He ran was on a 1999 VFR 800 and ran 11:20s I was on a 2007 VFR 800 and ran a 11:80s
we are going back in a week or so . this time we have change the sprocket on both bikes and we are strapping down the front so we can launch harder .
He should hit 10:??s I should be low 11:00s and this is on 800s

I'm sure if I had more than just 2 runs I could have gone better. My launches were probably not as hard as they could be. I also can't do gearing changes and don't want to strap the bike.

Just drop as much weight off of you and the bike as possible. That's where majority of your time will come from.
