Any one here use a Video camera on their rides? I watched a video of a ride in Europe, was really well done, now I'm thinking I need to get me a helmet cam and try my skills making movies instead of stills, that way I'm doing two things at once, woo hoo trying to be one up on Reg here LOL

One of my friends tried messing with it, but it was before the new bike specific applications, I think it would be a blast. If that ROadmc.com site is any benchmark have fun! You guys certainly have the scenery for some dramatic stuff.

we're working on it here. we're having difficulty deciding where to mount. tori is of the opinion that we should try to make it lower so the vids are more fun. more like riding. to do that, we are trying to figure out how to mount it so you can see and not drag it on the curves. I'll keep you posted.

The rear footpeg bracket is where I was telling Tori we should try it when we were talking, but it seems like your leg would block it too much. They are pointing it backward. We wanted rear mount but pointed forward so it shows maybe a little of shifting or brake depending on the side but closer to the ground than a tank mount. Dunno. Maybe duct tape it to the front fender. That would be purrrdeee.

Just joined, just bought the 25th anniversary, and recently bought a helmet camera. More than happy to shoot some VFR vid if we cross paths this summer (maybe Windy Ridge?)
