I was just wondering if anyone would happen to have a sound clip or video to demonstrate this new pipe? I listened to an Aprillia RSV4 on youtube with a similar pipe from Competition Werkes and thought it sounded and looked descent... 2010, 2011, 2012 Honda VFR1200 GP Exhaust

Thats almost as good as the Dam, touch small for the size of the VFR 1200. Dam still rules outright.

I placed my order on the black velvet Werkes pipe tuesday... My buddy who owns a lawnmower shop became a Werkes dealer so he could hook me up, haha. Can't wait. Pics and a video clip with some sound to follow.

Looking forward to hearing the clip and reading your opinion of the pipe. Do you have the factory bags? It'd be nice to know if the pipe works with the bags.

This is my first crack at a youtube video with my iphone. This was just a short one and I hope to do another one with a flyby when I get more time. I'm pretty impressed by the sound. It has a nice deep rumble and gets loud real fast when you crack it open at speed. I do hope that a Bazazz Z-Fi or power commander will take care of the burping when you let off the throttle. You only notice it when you blip the throttle sitting still; on downshifts it's pretty much non-existant.
Overall, I am very impressed with the fit and finish of their product. The color is black velvet if you're wondering. It was flawless once out of the box and looks way better than I had hoped. Enjoy and I hope this helps the guys out there who were looking for a pipe with color options that really accents the crazy lines of this bike.

Have mine on order. I went with the standard stainless. The insert/baffle is cheap and it will probably calm down that burp.

Congrats Dudeonit. I've been very happy with mine. The low end grunt emitted from this pipe reminds me of a piped 450 mx bike. I just let my buddy ride my bike today, mostly because he couldn't believe I bought such an ugly bike. He got off after a few miles and couldn't say enough good things about the VFR. It's always fun converting nay-sayers. Thanks for the advice on the insert. I may have to order one too.

2012-09-28_08-49-54_633.jpg Just installed mine this morning.

Nice sound. Not quite as throaty as the 800 was but still has a growl. A little blatty on decel but not bad.

Bummer that the center stand does not fit with this unit.

Nice work, she looks good in blue. Mine seams to be sounding better as it warms up and with every mile I put on. Sorry to hear about your center stand. Any chance to try factory side bags at all?

Thanks. I was hoping it would start to sound a little throatier. I have aftermarket Moto Centric bags. They work fine.

Just installed on mine . I kind of liked the stock can , but it is really heavy! Only 3.5 lbs for the Werkes, and nicely made. IMG_1711.jpg IMG_1715.jpg Before and after.

Beautiful. I'm one that loves the looks of that CW exhaust. Is the sound deeper than stock, or just louder? I can't tell from the YouTube clip of this pipe on the VFR12. I like the looks every bit as well as the DAM - but the DAM seems like it would be much deeper in tone...

I love the black velvet one. The unpainted one looks hideous.

I like looking at the tig welds. Too bad centerstand doesn't fit with this. There is good chance the GIVI V35 will force me to swap out the TwoBro with a shorter can.

It's definitely louder than stock. Sounds really nice at idle (deeper). Under heavy throttle I wouldn't say its deeper, but certainly meaner.
They sell an insert for it to quiet it down a bit. The insert probably changes the tone as well.
Not sure if I will go with the insert, as I wear ear plugs, and at hiway speeds the wind pretty much drowns out the exhaust note.
