Ok, let's see who will bite. What does your username/handle mean? Does it have meaning, or just some letters/words picked randomly?

Mine, derstuka, is short for der Sturzkampfflugzeug , which was a German dive bomber during world war II that was not the fastest or the most agile, however, it was pretty dead on on bombing runs, and made a whaling sound which would strike fear into those who heard it. It had an autopilot feature (since g suits were not invented yet) since the pilot could pass out from the g's of a dive. I used to be a world war II freak, and I am an avid mtn biker, well, a friend and I used to do a lot of downhill mtn biking (still do ride a lot, single speed hardtails mostly now), and we would call each other der stuka for the "divebomber" mtnbiker of the hill/mtn. Kinda lame story I know, but it was just how I came upon this username.

Well, my name is Eddie, and I work at Valley Trailer Repair. I thought I'd use my work name because my boss bought me a brand new '07 RWB after realizing how cool my old '83 is. He said I needed a new VFR to be friends with the old '83. We repair and rent out semi trailers.:smokin:

Tbone was my CB handle in high school(way back before cell phone technology was unleashed to the masses) & the 86 is the year of my bike(ironically right around the time I would have been using the CB handle)

When guys at the track would ask me how I was able to get my junkyard racebikes to go so fast, I would tell them that I just did some general lightening. Since I didn't have much money back then, it was cheaper and easier to shave weight than make more power. It's stuck for about 20 years now.

Pretty much straight forward both models in one name. I like VFRs so this pretty much explains what I'm into. I've had a VFR almost since they were out, that and when I came here, wanted a simple yet relateable name, so it be.

I never was to much of a Internet guy before the VFR, when I purchase something I research the hell out of it, therefore bringing me to VFRworld.

I thought I would do my research, make my purchase and my Internet forum days would be over, but over the time it took me to get educated, I kinda got to know some of the regulars and became a regular myself, now I regret picking such a unoriginal user name...

Sierra VFR because I ride in the Sierra Nevada mountains west of Lake Tahoe which is one of my favorite places. Not so original I know. It sure goes a long way for therapy. I'm sure we all know how that works....

Yosh is short for, of course, Yoshimura. Those were THE pipes to have back in the old GSXR days.

And 70, well, thats the year of my other baby.

OK, have to approach this from several directions.

1: I had used "XH" as a handle in several places, but I was getting tired of having to add a string of numbers to it.

2: In the Metal Gear series, codenames often take "adjective-animal" form.

3: One day, I was registering on a forum (not this one) and I had just been reading "Last Days of Foxhound" at www.gigaville.com , which is a Metal Gear parody comic. Hence, I had both Metal Gear and silliness on my mind.

4: Taking that them and mixing it with "XH" resulted in X-ray Hound.

5: In the vein of silliness, I decided I came by this codename by displaying the freakish ability to see through glass.
