When I started this thread I didn't have anything in mind as far as confrontations or the like. Never thought about it, just some of the goofy stuff that happens to all of us in life that irritates us at times.

Duccmann your wife is on target for sure. The way I look at it is at least 10% of any group are assholes we deal with. On the road there is another 10% that is having a bad/good day that the last thing on their mind is driving. Those two groups are the main ones we have to deal with and watch out for. Though some of them provide entertainment in the stupid shit they do. Or we all do at times. My attitude is OK dude get your act together and move on. I don't get angry anymore for the most part. I just pitty the fools cause everybody has a bad day every now and then.

One thing I have learned is watch the front wheel of any vehicle where it goes so does the rest of it. Gives me some reaction time, time. I love to sit back in a park or mall or were ever groups of people cross thru during their day. I'll find all kinds of things to laugh at or even get perturbed over. Like when I ask my wife a yes or no question and she tries to answer in her oratory story telling ways. Jesus woman it's either yes or no! eerrrrrrrrr. I'm still learning to deal with that.

Yesterday, after a spirited ride through the twisties, I was making my way into town on a 30mph road. I normally take it easy as the cops patrol a lot. I was rolling up to a light that was changing to red. I was about 30 feet from the light when it turned red, when I heard this roar from behind me. A newer red Mustang comes flying past me on the left, through the red light and nearly clipping a car turning from the left.!!

This is a possibility, another is that there is a real Mexican restaurant nearby.

I have also heard of cougars who go for young dudes in some hoods.

    Inconsiderate People....

So today I go for a quick ride in town since weather so nice but not enough time to get out in the country. So I hop on the highway and see a bottleneck of cars. Looking ahead, see a city street truck and think, Oh, he is causing traffic jam. So I get in far lane to go around and WOW! what do I see but a guy on his motorcycle stopped in the middle lane of a 3 lane highway with cars backed up all around! He is riding an 80's model BMW. So I hit the brakes and pull over as soon as I can (thinking this guy is about become a pancake). I walked back as fast as I could to help push him off the highway but when I got about 20 yards from him, he got it fired up and rode over to side of road. I asked what happened and he said he didn't know, just started bogging down on him and then died. He killed it and started it several times and it did fine. I asked if he had gas and he shook the tank (which seemed like it was about to fall off) and said yes....but I never heard the gas in tank slosh and tank seemed too light and empty. While talking to him, did see him turn the fuel petcock the other direction so I am thinking he probably ran out of gas and forgot to switch to reserve when it started chugging. Luckily, he was right at exit ramp and gas station right there. I asked if he had it under control and he said yes and that he was heading to the gas station right there, so I took off. Never did say THANKS for stopping, helping or anything!! Of course, I did notice the guy's hands were shaking while he was talking to me and trying to undo his gas cap and use light on his phone to look down in tank. I am thinking the guy was a little shaken up and last thing on his mind was motorcycle etiquette. LOL. Hell, scared me to death when I saw him sitting in middle lane stopped and cars whipping around in all directions. It was about 4pm so it was start of rush hour traffic and getting busy. All in all, just glad it ended well and felt like I had done my good deed for the day.

Reserve is becoming a thing of the past like kick starting. I spent many years on an air head and they will tell you when you are running out of fuel by running on one for several hundred yards. Ignore the petcock and die in the road.

In my experience women prefer to have the button flicked rather than outright pushed.
Just my thought for the day.
