    Hi everyone,

I got an estate sale VFR750 '91. So unfortunately I can't know much of history on the bike.

I took the carbs out, I got a 40 and 132 jets and the needle pictured below

    My questions,

1- what is the stock jetting, I under either 38 or 40 and 128 or 130 , which one ?

2- is the needle below the stock? (I doubt it) and if not, what is the reference for a stock needle?

I do not care about performance, I only care about getting the bike back to an easy to ride bike, I don't need the last bit of horsepower.

the bike has a K&N filter and a twin brother full exhaust (collector and left side carbon exit)

    thank you

wha, no fsm ? you're gonna need it along with detailed instructions for tuning on K&N/Dynojet carb kits.

probably best not to vary from the settings you already have IF the engine runs OK.

    thank you for the charts.

from the first comment, what is "FSM"? I am not familiar with the acronym.

I cleaned everything up, put the clip on the 3rd position as suggested by the dynojet manual online.
The bike start, idles "ok" , but coming off idle until about 3-4000 rpm it's really rough, then it goes ok.
This is side stand test, not riding.
    any pointers?

    thank you

FSM = genuine service manual. I have no idea why it gets called FSM. I have a PDF copy of you need it.
