So I'm looking for parts for my '95 vfr and have seen some parts listed as fitting an rc36 along with fitting a vfr750 and was wondering what the difference between a vfr750f and an rc36 is? Have also seen parts listed for other vfr750's not listed as a "F" one was listed as 750a parts? Also wondering if anyone has tried the fiberglass aftermarket fairings that are for sale on eBay made by a company called cnc- cars need change? They look like they have the mounting holes and tabs on them unlike the racing fairings you can buy. Thanks in advance if you have any insight into this.

Hey, welcome if nobody's said so yet. OK, 1990-1997 are all VFR750F. That is the public model name for the bike. 1990-1997 are also all RC36. That is the official Honda designation for the bike. Your serial number will have RC36 near the beginning of it. The previous generation was designated RC24. 1990-1993 are Generation 3, 1994-1997 are Generation 4. Everything for the 1990-1993 is interchangeable. Everything for the 1994-1997 is interchangeable. Nothing will interchange between the 3rd generation and 4th generation. That's it in a nutshell.

    Cheers,
    Glenn
