So I have found some motogp podcasts that I pull to listen to on the way to work, or sitting at work. One of them is the "official video action clip" put out by Dorna - motoGP. I tend to show those to folks when they ask why I follow motorcycle racing instead of NASCAR. they are free and look great on an iPhone - or so I've seen. :thumb:

Check out the Sepang clip and freeze it when they show the back of Pedrosa's helmet. Who the hell is that on the back?!

I have the 07 RX7 Pedrosa replica. It has an angry baby on the back.

The nazi remark is all over the forums. I'm just passing the info.

I could care less about him or his opinion, I still HATE Dani. He's a sore looser and a cry baby. If so many people say it, it must be true!

If enough people in Iran say the holocaust did not happen does that make it go away?

using Drewl's logic is why some people get banned from online forums, so it is true ;-)

Still don't have an answer to who's the charactature of... my only guess is his manager before he had hair plugs, but that doesn't seem right....

the Nazi connotation may come from the grey uniform with black leather accessories, but they didn't carry wrenches. That does look like a pistol handle though.

What is "it" holding? To me, it looks like a surrender flag... ie, when someone gets close enough behind him and can see the cartoon guy, he surrenders once they pass? or is it a spear?

Maybe an ultra-right wing French baby food manufacturer sponsors him?

I can't tell what that is exactly. Next year it will probably be tire tracks, from Valentino, Nicky, Casey, and Jorge. Not that you'll be able to tell, since one would have to be behind him to see.

I'm still looking for the logic in Drewl's statement... :bootyshake2::tongue:

If we look at historical facts then we of course know the holocaust happened. We also know from historical facts that Dani is a whiny crybaby who will be utterly trounced next season...

I can only imagine the budget Repsol and HRC will invest to get Dani to the top of the World Championship Points.

It will be interesting to see who stays healthy and who can take best advantage of the tyres provided.

I think Dani has a great shot at the Podium for this last race but Val and Jorge will mount attacks. I think Stoner's gonna 'coast' to protect his hand for GP-9 tests. Michelin would do well to put all their eggs in this race basket to close out their MotoGP bag of tricks.

If you have not yet done so, you can follow along with motogp practise rounds for free by signing up. It's pretty fun. I think NorCalBoy dropped coin to get the video... he can post up on how the feed is.

Dani will be a champion, just not until Val, Nicky, and Stoner are past their primes. HRC & Repsol will make sure of that. In his defense, Dani was moved up to the 800cc probably too soon. He has not let his skills mature. Most of the other guys winning races have 'moved down' from the 990cc. Just some food for thought.

Lorenzo has been spectacular his rookie season, I think he'll be beating DP to a World Championship, but we'll see what next year brings. Stoner is Dani's age, Simoncelli (sp?) the 250GP champ will also move up in 2010, so I think it is going to be tough for Dani until he can battle over multiple laps with riders at the front.

Yep, Dani is a great rider, but so are all the other folks in the motoGP class. Few riders are World Champions at that level.

Even fewer riders have babies with a gray uniform on the back of their helmet that no one in the VFRworld understands.

Is the picture on the helmet the Spanish Dictator Franco?

I would think that was a bad choice..

Dani DID race the 990 machines. He ran MotoGP in 2006 and they didn't change the displacement rules until 2007 or 2008 (can't remember which).

I read an article about him sometime last year. He was brought to MotoGP from the 250cc class and was being "Groomed" to be the new boy wonder for 2006. Hayden took away his thunder by racing well and being in contention for the championship. The more it looked like he was going to clinch the #1 spot the more the friction between he and Pedrosa grew because that was "Supposed" to be Dani's spot. True or not I have no idea but it does make sense.

Personally I don't care for him either. He's a good rider, certainly, but he isn't as smooth or reliable as some of the others. He takes chances when he doesn't need to and makes mistakes when he shouldn't. There are better riders on the track.
