I always record these great races. I just wish the TV broadcast had subtitles.

I can't understand half of what the announcers and racers are saying

all you have to do is turn on the closed caption option of your tv. instant sub titles. yes the IOM TT is the tops as far as I'm concerned.

I like them too, but, IMHO, they are more daredevils then traditional motorcycle racers. It does not attracts most experienced or most known racers around the world. More and more it getting into local competition between local tribes of racers. I would not except them to survive on other tracks, let alone to do well. Most of them just twist the throttle to the max and stay there and they have a lot local experience. It is nice, but I am more fan of traditional racing around the world, when riders show extreme skills in cornering and strategy.
But what do I know, I am just Crazy Russian.

I've been watching it too on channel hd theater. those dudes have to have some serious balls to hit those public roads like that. one slight misjudgment on those city streets could spell disaster

Grey, thanks. I recently received a new remote and didn't know about the caption option . . . duh.

Now that I can see what these guys are saying I must admit, most of it is gibberish.

The good thing though, is they are not loquacious like some announcers in MotoGP.

As Professor Henry Higgins once said . . . "why can't the English learn to speak?"

I am afraid I must disagree with Crazyrussian on this one. I find them to be no less a racer than the drivers of the WRC. And that type of raceing IMHO is some of the most exiting and challenging in the world. You better be skilled and know your bike, to run those speeds. just like world rally. Of cource in WRC, its the fans that are daredevils imo!!!

Joey Dunlop, Robert Dunlop and Ron Haslam to name a few.
You have to be a better rider to deal w/ stone walls, trees and 8" curbs IMO then any track rider.
1 mistake could end a life instead of a scooter ride back to the pits.

    Hay BZ.
I watch those races when I can, but it is getting less exited every time - same local people and riders. Years ago it was International race, test for bike manufacturers and riders, not anymore.
An about to do more research before I post - no, tanks, it may turn me into over opinionated a.hole like you, thanks but no I would just post my feelings.

People in this Country argue our problems lie within Obama, Bush or some other politician and their goofy policies. The reality is their goofy policies are a reflection of trying to please the vast populous of this nation.

I’ve grown to love these forums. They show how we’ve become the lowest common denominator.

As Badbilly says, Praise Bush, God and pass the ammunition.

I watched a few minutes last night, the on board camera shots of them racing through the streets, what can you say, it takes balls bigger than mine. It's a different kind of racing than GP, even Rossi said these guys were crazy.
