Hey all! My name is Pat and I'm new to the world of VFR's. I just purchased my 95' VFR750F on Monday and so far I love it! My roommate got a Triumph Sprint 955i and pestered me to get a bike. I owned a 2003 Buell Blast just out of high school and I figured that anything under 500cc was going to bore me, especially after riding his bike. (he doesn't yet have his license so I was lucky enough to ride his bike home) I found the VFR and did some research on it. Couldn't find a bad review out there so I knew I had to have this bike! It has 15,500 miles on it and so far it seems to run like a dream. I'll post pictures soon.

Time to head to rehearsal! Happy to be on the forums and hope to learn a lot!

Oh yeah, didn't have my car around yesterday so I had to use the bike to get to work. On my way home it was snowing... Just happy I didn't lay her down. :)

Been there, done that. Not fun at all. Got caught in a sudden heavy snowfall on my commute to work on the freeway about 50 miles from home. Half way to work. Had to nurse the bike off the freeway, using my feet as outriggers, then park it at a gas bar. Just as I was pulling into the gas bar, it slipped out from under me. Because of the large amount of snow that had accumulated, there was no damage done. Sux I say....sux.

BTW. Welcome to the forum. We like pix of your ride. Deal with that will you?

Welcome aboard. A 95 VFR750 is an awesome bike, but I'm probably a little biased.

Welcome to the mad house! I'm just a few hours to the North of you.

Just last Saturday, I rode down to Grand Forks, ND on my bike to catch the bike show there - I was actually getting warm on the bike in the afternoon.

Next day .... BAM!!! It was raining and getting cooler - then the snow fell. :(

We're just getting back to riding temperature over the next day or two.

Yeah, my friends look at me like I'm crazy riding in the 30's and 40's... I used to snowmobile all winter so a little spring time ride on the bike isn't so bad. :)

Hey, that's what I figure. As long as there's no ice / frost on the roads, I'm riding ... just bundle up, right?
