Hey Brace if you want to hit me up for a ride let me know. Not rocking the 6th gen any more not that we met up. I'm on a 7gen cuss a turd cut me off on the freeway. Any who PM me if you want to ride.
no problem my friend! Yeah, I usually try to go on Saturdays, can't really ride on Sundays because I have church and other plans. This weekend, i'm heading up to Fresno.....let me know when, I will be down.
Whats up man, I know its probably kind of late, but I'm heading up to Malibu to ride and do a shoot. Probably going to hang out around there......
Finally after all these months of waiting, Go For a Ride has re-invented himself and is a living tribute as to why no one should ever eat at McDonalds.
You call that rain? You really do live a sheltered life. Sheat, most of the year while I am commuting to and from work, I wear a PFD ust in case I go down. I gave my Joe Rocket jacket away cause it didn't even ome close to keeping me dry. For that matter, my present Tourmaster that advertises itself as "waterproof" does not either. But good old cheap nylon rainsuits that are rubber lined work great. Bird is not quite the word. Duck is though.
Yeah, rain to us is a drizzle and, rain to you guys is a flood. Regardless, most motorcyclist out here won't even ride in what I just rode in during the video. LOL I can't believe that the cheap rubber lined gear works best to keep you dry....funny how that works huh? I always keep a set in my tail bag just in case ;-) Bird has more of a ring to it, don't ya think??!
At least BYS has a vid of himself riding in the rain and all Randy does is his Gene Kelly routine about three times a week..
True enough. I thought about borrowing a vid from someone and post up the shit I ride in but my doctor might see this and send those nice young men in the bright green jackets out to get me. I even find myself thinking WTF am I doing out here. They have meds for my condition.....they don't always work
Just another episode of me giving someone a hard time. Reality is, there is no comparing the two areas. All I have to worry about is hydro planing. ( and the ever persistant fogging of the face shield). We get enough rain out here that our roads are relatively clean of oils and grime. Now even though I ride in the rain all the time here, I would certainly be cautious if not down right hesitant to ride in a rain down in your neck of the woods due to the build up of road film. That is like riding in a road snake that is 20 feet wide. Believe it or not, the rubber lined rain gear goes a huge way to keeping me warm riding in the sub freezing weather too. That same lining that keeps me dry, alsp stops wind penetration and traps the heat in.
" I even find myself thinking WTF am I doing out here." On your way to a MCDonalds for some McRibs? The power of suggestion is a real motivator.
