Hello, I have a 1992 VFR750F with less than 10,000 miles. How can I tell if its gen3 or gen 4?
Hi there. I finally scratched an itch that I've had since I put my 86 away back in 2011. Thanks to Dave in NC. Happy to be on a VFR again.
This is my first Vfr and I love this bike it has a lot of character . looking forward to learning more about the bike.
49 yrs old NOOB- Finally Mature enough to own one...but the only bike on the expressway getting passed by Semi's and Yugos! lol jk
Nick.Wichita Ks. Purchased 2004 Honda VFR800 Interceptor, APRIL 2018. 6,000 miles in 6 months. Super stoked to be a part of the family!
A very satisfied VFR owner in 2018 after 4 years and 40000km. ( 5th. gen. VFR is the last model without a cam chain and SUPER reliable)
Hey Matt, I'm sorry to hear about your crash. I hope you made it out ok. I was wondering if your Regulator/Rectifier is intact? I'm also interested in the seat. Thanks -Kegan
Hey thanks again for the replies in chat. Startup issue resolved. Tragedy/comedy of miscommunication. I took PC ground off when I removed battery post BF crash. Ir did not get reinstalled with the new battery bc someone other than me did it...cant blame the guy, it was a heck of a day. Thanks and hope you have a great riding season.
That's awesome it was something simple!
You have a good riding season too! I try to ride year around. 29°going up I-5 last year. That's about my limit lol.

New owner of an 01 VFR800, in need of cosmetic love.
Hey Randy, how many mile you got on that old dog now?
Sorry for the delay. VFRW had me locked out all day but seems to be fixed now. The bitch is proud of 212,000 km. It is soon to catch up to me in raggedness but right now it is running pretty good. Its in the shop for forks and rear wheel bearing. Heading down to Cabos San Lucas this November with Reg and Toe. Think I will truck it down to Sacramento to meet them though.
Wow that is an impressive number! I was curious because there is a fell here at work entertaining the purchase of a used VFR and he's concerned about the high miles that the majority seem to have on them. So I showed him yours but I wasn't sure how many miles you had accumulated. Probably a good move to truck the VFR down, you may run into some unpleasant cold weather at that time of year.
that's what it looked like, now it has a terrible red rattle can paint job selling for parts, or for a fix up, still runs good
this bike was stolen, but found 4 days later, was gonna do the body again, no time, or place to repaint, body is off now
1996 vfr lots of new parts , tires ,chain, sprockets , forks rebuilt , hard lines , Daugherty rear shock up grade , wheel bearings , etc.
Any chance you'd sell that Yoshi can separately? -Thanks, Phil
What's a "Status"? Is that a state of mind? Should I record my feelings here or what??? I don't understand.......I'm still happily married
I was attempting to reply to a new thread by Flo in the mechanics garage but keep getting the following message>>

Is there an issue for just this thread? I have been able to respond to other posts.
