Have owned my 2002 6th gen for 18 months now. So far since owning the bike I have fitted Delk exhaust, updated windscreen, lifted handlebars, did pair valve and snorkel mod, fitted Corbin Seat, fitted Givi 47nn panniers and top box, fitted heated grips and PC5. Have just replaced the starter solenoid and looks like i will need to upgrade some of the connectors as well but at least I have solved the non-start issue...

I would ideally like to lower the front pegs as i do find the bike...
Not sure on the brand of stator (recommendations?) but am looking for a non-stator killer like the Shindengen SH847. Located north of brissy, rung a few motorbike mobs, and had a few tell me that they've never heard of the brand.
I recently brought a new 2015 VFR1200F and have just returned from Phillip island.
We rode some epic roads including the Elliot way, towonga gap, eildon back road (60km of 35kph corners) and the Omeo highway from Omeo to mitta mitta, this is surely the best bike road ever. 100km of glorious tight stuff that then opens out along the river and then gets tight again.
You must ride it and then go to the mitta pub which is also awesome....
