I'm from a tiny nation singapore. Here we have the agent and parallel importers for this model

I am going to buy the original quickshifter but was wondering if it is a plug and play item. Without altering of the e.c.u

I asked the agent but obviously they did not want to entertain me as mine is the parallel import model.

I asked the parallel importer only to be told that they have no confirmation and it MAY need to "tune/adjust" the e.c.u

I have looked at the Interceptor and Crossrunner and the exhaust look the same in regards to mounting points etc.
Honda does have different part numbers for the exhausts for the 2 bikes but it seems to be only a bracket to stop a centre stand...

Overall it seems the updated bike is a substantial improvement on the original cross runner - now if only Honda can get the price right - it will sell like hot cakes!

Hi everyone,

The PH2 review of the crossrunner mentioned that there was a new exhaust and header system that has improved the power delivery of the VTEC.

I wonder if putting the new exhaust on a Gen 6 would provide similar results.

Mind you I'd imagine a Powercommander would be advantageous to get the most out of it.

Maybe there is a new option for people not loving the VTEC kick?
