I wanted to make a short post about an upcoming trip I am planning.

I aim to do this trip Labor Day week 2020. (roughly Sept 5th-12th)

I plan to travel to Colorado, specifically around the Colorado Springs—Denver—Breckenridge area.

I have ridden around the Pike & San Isabel Forests, and that is very nice indeed!!

I would love to go North towards Grand Lake or Walden, even over to Loveland/Ft. Collins.

I have heard nothing but great things about the Rocky Mtn Natl Park area...

I was thinking about my first bike the other day and wondering if it was still on the road.
It was a black 1986 vfr 700f. The motor started smoking pretty bad so I pulled it and replaced it with a 750 from a 90's bike.
Sadly I had to sell it in 2005. I know it's a long shot, but has anyone heard of, or own a bike that matches that discription? Im new to motorcycles and I am in dire need of some assistance. I bought a VF500 off a guy for $200, it was that cheap because the carb was already pulled off, the gas tank was pulled off, it needs new tires, and needs a new battery. I just finished rebuilding the carb (hopefully I did it right). The problem Im running into now is what connects to what. I was able to get the carb back on and fully seated, but the throttle cables are throwing me for a loop. Im not sure where...

I was hoping to get some advice on a reliable shop to bring my bike and not get my head chopped off. I just bought my first VFR(2008) from a private party and the guy seemed to be on the up and up.
