      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Went for a ride out Soledad Cyn, and headed back south on Angeles Forest Hwy. Decided to go Upper Big Tujunga to Angeles Crest, and ride up a ways, no set destination. Pulled off a few short miles up at Charlton Flats to take 5. Quite a few gawkers sightseeing, or turning down the side road to go hiking. Plenty of bikes, slow and fast types, and the car squids. Too much for my liking so I headed back down. <br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Been looking for a gen 5 or 6  VFR. slim pickings. Found a 2004 with only 5,700 miles on it. The guy i bought  it from  owned it 12 years. i am now the 3rd owner. how do i know the millage is trew ? you say. well the date code on both tires is 2003 and they are about 50% worn out. <br />
First thing i did was replace the tires and rear brake pads [ honda OE ].<br />
I wanted a red one but i could not pass up one so new. It is     primer black. Maybe it will grow on me . not to many black  VFRs out...<br />

Trying to stay off the interstates as much as possible and seek the backroad scenic byways.  The more turns the better, scenic views a bonus.  Not looking to go down the coast though.<br />

I usually get there after the canyon racers finish their road runs at about 10:00am.<br />
If you ride in any earlier, just be prepared for groups of Cafe Racers on the latest GP machines dragging knees past you at 100 mph. : ) It&#039;s all good : )<br />

I would not want to be here in a downpour, especially since the hills are bare naked.<br />
You could get trapped by a mud flow, rock fall, or landslide.<br />

Best jacket I ever had, loved the perforated leather which kept me cool on hot days and also comes with a liner for cooler days.  Very clean, no cracks or scraps.  Size 48 (I&#039;m 6&#039;2&quot; and 215 and fit me well).<br />

It&#039;s not getting me anymore trophies, but it&#039;s way more confident inspiring for the wife than sitting on the back of one of the GSXRs.<br />

It was a black 1986 vfr 700f. The motor started smoking pretty bad so I pulled it and replaced it with a 750 from a 90&#039;s bike. <br />

Computer says the closest dealers to me are Moorpark / Simi, Glendale, Or Hollyweird.<br />
