Well I passed a guy doing 10 under the speed limit. As I went around him my front tire started shaking bad and I seen enough youtube videos where this happens and someone spills. Luckly I got control of the bike and went on my way. I ran the bike up to about 120mph to see if it do it again and nothin, went around a corner at 70 and nothin.. I don't think I was doing anything out of the norm passin this guy, maybe I yanked the throttle to fast but some feedback from ya'll I would appreciate so I know what I did wrong.

I thinks is the road, In Ca the free way have a lot of groove and cause the bike to shake from time to time. Just like you I thought some thing wrong with the bike as first. I took the same lane for the next few time and I realize it is the road not from the bike. What a relief:party2:

Probably just a transition in the road or went through a grooved section that upset the tire. Do you have any head shake if your hands are off the bars? I had a hard time riding home last night on HWY 1 from after MotoGP because my front dunlop is so cupped and rear bags on every tight corner at any speeds started to head shake, not a good feeling. Check for play in your wheel bearings and steering stem shaft. Also check for proper air pressure in your tires often. Brian

You'll get that going over any surface that disturbs the location of the contact patch of the bike. Though it should for the most part be self correcting.

You don't know head shake until you've ridden my Radian, when it happens you have be on the throttle quick.

What did you do to recover from the front-end wobbles? It has only happened to me once on I-5 near Roseburg. I dumped my first Interceptor bending the fork tubes and breaking the front rim. Walked away with one minor scratch! Solutions to recover from the wobble?

Mechanically, make sure your steering head bearing isn't sloppy.

Ridewise, Stay off the front brake and transfer your weight rearward if it starts shaking it's head.

The I-5 near Roseburg ain't got much to do with headshake in the broader sense.

Uneven oil levels in the front forks can do it but it would be more consistent.

Maybe something momentarily clogged one valve?

Oh baby, my time has come
I'm gonna step aboard this ship today and head for the sun
Don't know what I'll see there
    Don't know what I'll find
But baby, I'll be happy if I find a peace of mind

Time travel, it's been getting me down
I've been gone so long I don't ever think I'm coming down
    I've seen tomorrow
    And I've seen yesterday
Will I see your face again
Well baby, you know I just can't say
    Oh no, no

    No I just can't say
    Baby, I'm comin' down
    I'm comin' down
No I just can't say, baby
    But I'm comin' down
    Yeah I'm comin' down
Oh won't you take me away, baby
    Take me away, away, away
    Yeah

Will we see the sunshine, baby
    Will we ride the skies
    Will we find tomorrow, baby
    Will we travel time

Will we see the sunshine, baby
    Will we ride the skies
    Will we find tomorrow, baby
    Will we travel time

We own the sun, we own the sky
We own tomorrow and we wanna fly...
