VFR mechanical issue

    My main question on my 1991 VFR and the carb issues. Bad gas is in the carbs, I believe causing them to stick. I have thoughts of doing the job myself, as far as getting into the carbs. I also, however, have a contact at a motorcycle shop that would do the job for me for $375.00. Am I stupid to do the job myself, or should I just throw down the money and have it done? Any advise for me.

    Cheap mechanic's desperation first step - get fresh premium with some Lucus fuel injector additive to the tank and go run the piss out of it. Then worry about what step 2 is.
