Any "Naked" VFR's around.

    Riding a 6th gen and i love the promo pictures of the bike naked. Although it is not ridable in theses pictures.
    Was woundering if anyone rides a naked VFR or has seen or heard one.

    I saw one on ebay last year. Looked OK. Take your side panels off and ride it. See if you start getting ideas on what you would like.

    I am in the process of taking the clothes off my 3G. Its still a work in process but is totally rideable at the moment. I will post some pictures soon if anyone is interested.

    Watch your temps. I can not run my CBR 1000 hurricane without the plastic since it is designed to help cool the engine.

    Irish has made his into a street fighter, he moved the rad to the front under the triple clamps. He has pics in his gallery.

    Very nice, not sure i would go with the matt black finish but very, very nice.

    There is more to cooling the engine than just the radiator.

    I am not saying you can not do it but advising that you watch your temps. And the heat coming off the engine will no longer be diverted away from the rider either.

    To me, there just seems to be a lot of STUFF that just looks better covered up. I rode the bike naked for a day or 2 when messing with the cooling system and the number one thing I noticed was the wind. The fairings make a noticeable difference.
