Just as the title says. Trying to decide between a Two Bro's or Leo Vince cf slip on system for my new (to me) 6th gen. I've done some looking and come up with the following pros and cons. Feel free to sound off with anything else.

    2Bros:
    Pros:
Looks great on the 6th gen
Less cash for the cf cans

    Cons:
    Only one pipe used
From the sound clips I've heard, it sounds more raspy than the Leo

    LeoV:
    Pros:
Great looking CF, maybe the best
    Great sound

    Cons:
    More cash
I don't like the tips on the cans (subjective I know)

Well I can add confusion to your decision.

My friend Tom has the Two Brothers, I have the Leo's. I love the way his sounds, he loves the way mine sounds. Go figure!

Only thing I would disagree with is the "raspy" comment. I don't think I would ever say Two Bro's are raspy.

Neither of us have the carbon versions either. I went with the really cheap stainless pipes because I was already hesitant to spend that much cash on an exhaust. A little buffing and they shine up nice.

You won't make a bad decision with these two choices. It should probably come down to how much the single, functional can with the Two Bro's bothers you. I must admit I was close to getting the Two Bro's due to the potential storage capacity.

No contest, the Leo's win hands down!

The 2Bro's may look great but who wants a system with a fake pipe?

You know what exhaust I would look into if I had to do it all over again?
G.P.R., Man that system looks sweet!

By the way, what's the going price for resale of the stock system these days?

I have the Leo's and they're great. Quality is excellent. Fitment was easy. Sound is great without the silencer inserts. With the inserts they're hardly louder than stock. Also, I've heard of durability issues the the Two Brothers systems, though I don't know that from first-hand experience. Good luck with the decision.

I have the TBR stash system and I think it sounds great. Makes the bike sound like a little V8. I like the stash system for a little storage because I don't have any bags on the bike. You can get the other version of TBR that uses both cans.

    Carnage,

TBR does not make a system for the VFR that uses both cans to route the exhaust. No matter which system you chose, Stash or VALVE, they only use the right hand can. The left hand side is a dummy can.

You're not going to go wrong with either system. We can all agree that ANYTHING sounds better than the stock system on the 6th gens. I bought a cheap Scorpion system from a guy on this board brand new. I love them and they only cost me $400. Installed myself in about an hour, with no leaks.

Just get what you like....go with your gut. You don't have to spend top dollar to have a system that sounds good. And, you don't have to impress anyone on here. If you have the cash and like the Leo's. Then get them.

You are going to turn heads no matter what system you decide on because of the V4 rumble and the dual exhaust.

Hear are a couple of pics of mine after I put them on with my new Road Attacks.

This may be the worst video I've ever created. But I ran out and made this just a few minutes ago and uploaded to youtube. Just to post and show you that you don't have to spend money if sound is what you're looking for. I know you said you are in the market for Carbon Fiber and these are stainless but you get the idea.

Learn something new everyday. I knew the stash system had a dummy pipe but thought the other one flowed through.

Don't get me wrong, the system looks great but, there isn't even a mid pipe that attaches to the left can. From the back you can see daylight through the front end of the can.

I have Leo Vince. I have never regretted the extra coin. System goes together great, looks fantastic in CF, and sounds incredible. Very good worksmanship.

Subjectively, I cant stand putting something on the bike that just looks like a performance part and isnt really (stash can). It reminds me of all the kids who write "TYPE R" on their completely stock civics.

    I agree 100%

And don't forget the kids who put the big wing on the trunk to go hang out at the mall.

I can't stand paying for an empty nothing. The empty can is like putting a handle on a bowling ball. The Leo's are easy to install and sound like :TRUEEVIL:pure evil:TRUEEVIL: in a tunnel. I never regretted paying the money for the carbon LV's. Every time i start my bike it reminds me why i did it!

I have the Leo's in stainless. Happy, happy, happy!!!!! I don't know what the cost difference is, but you can't put a price on long term would've, could've, should've. Fitment was a piece of cake and I love the sound.

BUT.......... you have to do what you want. As long as you are happy with your choice, then you have made the right decision for you. :)

(but I couldn't muster the courage to pay for a fake muffler....)

If it's an economic issue, wait until you can save the extra coin for the LV's. You get what you pay for. My view is that there are good fake cans, but they don't attach to bikes...........

Well you might think I would jump right in and defend my Two Brothers VALE setup. But as Two4one said, I love the sound of his Leo's, if I was to do it again, I would probably get the Leo's. With that said I am still very happy with my Two Bros setup. Its got a great sound and it surely added power over stock. Both cans are real mufflers but like everyone says only one is hooked up. You can swap the cans if you want to get longer life out of the system but I'm not sure that will every be necessary. Not sure why Two Bros didn't just put the extra $5 into the system to connect the other can. They say it was a loss in torque, and for how easy it would have been for them to do it, I'm sure they are probably right.

The thing I think the Two Bros has over the Leo's is the look. The end caps are awesome looking on the Two Bros and that is the main reason I bought the system.
