    Hi All,

I just registered and do not own a bike but want to buy a black and white 2009 Honda VFR800 as soon as possible. However the dealers can not help me so I am hoping someone here can.

I saw the bike on the Topspeed web site:

2009 Honda VFR 800 Interceptor - Top Speed

When I contact dealers they indicate that black is the only color for 2009. I reall really hope someone here can get me in touch with Honda or a dealer who can get me the black & white version ... thanks in advance !!

Only available in Europe. Try order from Japan. Good luck finding one in US.

Just get a bike and repaint it....

That paint scheme you showed does look neat. Why do they give all the options in Europe, but one gives us one?

Sad that black is the only color available in the US. I actually like the White/Black look better.

I like the black frame. It doesn't make much sense that you can't get the same colors over here.

That white color combo is the best I've seen ever! That is bad ass... but keeping it clean would be a bitch...

I like the black and white version too! How hard would it be for Honda to offer a couple of color choices? Come on, these things are d@mn near the price of a car now anyway...

Yes; one of the guys already said it a few posts back, if you are that hot on the black and white version, get on the Canadian Honda web site and get a list of the dealers that are close in proximity to you. Start calling them,if you are serious about it, and project
the proper image, not a starry-eyed kid, they will talk to you. If you follow thru with this and of coarse if black and white bikes are allocated to Canada, bet you could have one by Summer. I also like the color scheme of the black and white machine, much nicer than plain black.

They've got to offer that color scheme in the states next year. I bet it would sell better than the solid colors. The white rims are what completes it.

I've always thought the Europeans got better color schemes than us here in the US,too. But the fact is that the European market is far greater than it is here especially for sport and sport touring bikes. That white and black bike is sharp! Let American Honda know boys!

Unless some of you guys are privy to Hondas internal marketing strategy, if for whatever reason they dont want to offer certain models, paint schemes or options to the US market , they wont. If you really want a certain paint combination or option make some calls to those countries that have been allocated and buy it. Yes ,doing so can be very costly. I am re-doing my
5th gen to look like a 1998 anniversary model, thats the red and silver combination with the yellow swoose on the side fairings. That option was never offered in the states, I
tried in vane to get the proper paint and decal package from my local Honda dealer and
they couldnt find any indication that this model was ever produced,I then went to
Honda Canada and even though some of those bikes were brought into that country ,no one seemed to know anything about them. One of the guys from this site recomended that I
contact a dealer in England, and low and behold they actually knew what I was talking
about ,had good part numbers and were able to order parts for me. Anyway the moral of my story is, dont wait for Honda or any big manufacturer to do something that you think is logical or good business sence. I you want it that bad, start dialing overseas phone numbers or buy a black one and have it painted to the European specifications. eddie

Yep, my dealer here dasi he can get the white and black . NOW, I don't know if it can be sold to an American or not. I just made a bunch of phone calls to a dealer in tennessee about one of his 5 , 07 RWB's that are collecting dust and while he said he would love to sell me one, American Honda said NO sales to Canadians. Which I thought was kinda f%$#&ed up since it is a non current bike and they should be glad to flog their old bikes, whatever, I had cash but they didn't want it I guess, too bad the dealer has to sit on 'em and keep dropping the prices. Seems American Honda and Honda Canada are two completely separate companies and I can't even get one sent up on a dealer purchase. Just have to find a used one , no issues then.
