Hiya Lads/Lassies, just a quick hello. I've been biking for over 20yrs and owned loads of different bikes. Currently have a Vtec 2004 model and a Gixer K3 1000.
I've just bought the panniers and fitting kit for the VFR, and was searching for tips on fitting them when I found this site. Looks great and I hope to learn more about ye in the coming months.
By the way, I'm from Ireland.

Top of the morning to ya lad! Glad to have another innocent and unsuspecting victim join the nuthouse!

You can change your flag to "Ireland's" if you want as well.

    Welcome aboard.
Curious about the riding season in Ireland. Does snow and ice prevent you from getting out much?

We dont get very much snow, and the ice/frost is not a huge issue either, usually only about 20 days a year that its too bad too ride. It does get pretty cold and winters here are wet, so good rainproof gear is a must

Some great scenery here allright, but the roads can be poorly surfaced in rural areas. But still lots of good B roads if you know where to look:wink:

I'd like to say welcome too! I hope to get to Ireland some day myself. The people around here seem to be pretty helpful inspite of the all the insanity (who knows, maybe that actually helps...). :cheersaf:
