Emon seems like my kind of people. I don't think you would go wrong if you were to connect with him and let him show you around, he seems to have a knowledge of good adult oriented entertainment, which I certainly applaud. You East Coast guys need to rally around this cat, of course he'd probably think you guys were all pussies.

You used a tank of gas to get to SLOIII? You poor things...

Remember, the call out is on Californians, Randy is definitely king so far, but he has more in common with us Northerners and East Coasters.

Girly states? Yeah, Michigan is definitely over 600 miles long too...get off your box.

And half that 600 miles is over water. You must have one of those submarine VFR's... [IMG]

    definitely 600 land miles.

From my brother's town, Dundee, to Ironwood or Copper Harbor are both over 600 miles.

Dundee to Copper Harbor on Google Maps

if we did have to cross water...

but we have this little gem called the Mackinac Bridge(pronounced Mack-a-naw). You Californians might have heard of it since it's a wee bit bigger(er..longer) than your Golden Gate.

    WOW! Nuff said!

Now, seriously, all jokes aside... I hope you guys can get a good group together and have as much fun as we did on the West Coast. If you don't show up you don't know what you're missing! Good luck with your event! :thumb:

Attempting to compare the Mackinac, naw, chew, bridge to the Golden Gate is laughable at best. Have you ever seen the ocean? 600 miles is roughly half the length of CA for the geographically challenged, so basically you are talking 6" vs. a foot....go to the real East Coast, hang with Emon, hone your skills, and then maybe you can quit chearleading and get in the game.

Look at Surfer trying to get the last word in, ROFL! You go boy.

Wow, a dispute over Ca and east coast. Being I grew up in Ca and now live in Cleveland I have both good and bad to say about each place. First off, there is no place in the world that even comes close to NorCal!! Now that being said, the east coast also has it's share of fun. Northern Ca has Great America (I moved before they changed it to Paramount's) but Ohio has Cedar Point. No comparison. Cedar Point wins by a long shot. Ca has the 101, east coast doesn't. Ca win's. Ca has 5 times the traffic, at least. East coast wins.
My point we both have good and bad. Being I'm out here on the east coast, we are gonna get something together and it will be a great time. As long as there's beer, riding, food, and laughs we all win.
So let's stop the stupid shit, get this planned and get on with it!!!

Not going to lie, I've got plenty of time on my hands. No shock on the bike . It's at Ohlin's right now. Otherwise I wouldn't even be on the site lol.

East Coast guys...we need to narrow down to some locations with decent roads. There isn't anything by me in Michigan but I'd be willing to head a few states over to find some...

I don't consider Ohio the East Coast  Since when have Michigan and Ohio been bordered by the Atlantic Ocean.....It is my opinion that Midwest is a more geographically correct description.

The East does have some great personalities, which has been demonstrated here. I would be proud to call Bitterpill, V4Bear, Bubba Z, Emon, Matt, Joey Dude and Wrestler, members of my VFR posse.

This was supposed to be a thread to organize the troops but turned into some guy from Michigan attempting to punk the Cali contingency:rolleyes: Of course he ain't got the stones for that

Now I know ohio isn't the "east coast" but it is a helluva lot closer than the west coast. Lake Erie is big enough, we'll just call Ohio the North coast. Can't we all just get along and ride! Damn!

Yeah, we're not on the "coast"(though the great lakes are connected via the St Lawrence Seaway:tongue:). But that's what is within reasonably short riding distance and where some of us Midwestern riders would go to meet up. Maybe it's a timezone thing more so?

And yes, this thread is suppose to be about setting up a meet so let's do that. What started as some friendly razzing :noidea: seems to have ruffled some feathers:argue2:so enough is enough.:whiteflag::cheersaf:

Yeah, I think some feathers did get ruffled. All is good though.
So, I have an open invitation to meet at my place the night before the Niagara ride and drink beer, BBQ, and just BS for the night before we start our 3 hr trek to Niagara.
I will have a few cases of Yuengling and a bottle or two of whatever. It'll be a good time. And for those Ca boys who don't know what Yuengling is, we win again. One of the best beers ever brewed!!!

I wasn't here to ruffle feathers. I'm just trying to get you east coasters motivated! I really do hope you can get a great get-together organized and have a fun and safe time. Anyone who has met me knows I'm a big jokester and like stirring it up a bit. I have nothing against Michigan, heck my Dad lived their for years! Hey, at least you're not from Jersey! aww crap!

Hey I gotta agree - Coming back from Texas a few years back was a rough ride by myself - when I got to Canton, Ohio I felt like I was almost back home and back east.

Ok so what we wanna do is ride and have fun. Do we

    1. go somewhere to ride and camp out or (great areas - Pa, Deleware and NY (Westchester County and north)

    2. are we interested in selecting a location with a hotel and great riding in the area or (great areas D.C., Balt, Md, Ohio)

    3. do we want to do a weekend trackday and some riding (NJ Thunderbolt Track has camping, hotels in the area and great riding in the area).

    4. find a shoreline with beaches, camping, hotels and great riding. (Long Island, NY and NJ shoreline)

    Let do this!!!!
