Hey all. I am the lucky owner of a darn near mint stock 86 VFR. I am not interested in making any permanent modifications to the bike but I would like to swap the mirrors and add a tail rack. On the mirrors I've read a post that someone used the below mirrors with no modification to the bike:

    http://www.powersportsrider.com/web/sub/BM0409C0019Z.HTM

    (Supersport 60-1122 & 60-1123)

On the tail rack I've read about Ventura system but was wondering if there are any other options. I am not a big fan of the Givi look nor hardbags for the bike either.

    Thanks!

You know...I saw that one too and it's very intriguing. The blinker addition would be pretty cool!:reg:

$100 is high but I'd put those on my bike in a minute if I saw them on first. Do me a favor and be a guinea pig would ya?

Like the others have said the 60-0299 should be a bolt in replacement for the stockers but theyre a bit spendy, the 60-0212 shold work as well, however the 60-1122 you mentioned wouldnt be a bolt in rplacement, those are the style that screw into the brake and clutch master cylinder housings on the bars, not the type that go through the fairings.
