Yeah. I am not a guitar player - mostly just dabble on it and bass enough to be able to embarrass myself. My instrument is Saxophone - played Baritone Sax with a 16 piece big band/jazz orchestra for 10 years and have an Alto & Tenor just for fun. I have not played seriously for about 20 years so you could say I am VERY rusty. Keep at it, even if it is for your own enjoyment! Cool.

I used free outstanding software audacity and line 6 UX1 pod but you can record directly from mic with USB connection to your PC or laptop and record using audacity another tip guys you can download any Utube video music for free by going here FetchMP3.com - Search FREE music downloads! Convert YouTube videos to downloadable mp3s! and simply copy pasting the url of the video and click on + and download the mp3 and save it to your drive.I have 2 spyware on my PC and its clean program free.
So If you want to have fun go Utube type backing tracks and choose what you like and download the track and important it to audacity and play over it.
Sound cool yeah? Just imagine playing horn over your favorite BT.
It may inspire you in long winters here.
