I MAY have a line on a fender eliminator kit for my VF500. Have no idea what this looks like, either on or off the bike. Anyone got one (not a home-made version...)? Got a foto if so?

I removed the rear mud flap/fender and just replaced it with a bent piece of sheet metal to secure the license plate with. Is this what your talking about or did you have something else that would eliminate the inner fender all together?

from what I'm told it's a full fender elim. kit, like the ones Competition Werkes up in OR used to make/sell. I just don't know what it LOOKS like yet.

There is a fella that sells a kit on eBay:

Honda Interceptor Fender Eliminator Kit VF500F VF500 VF:eBay Motors (item 180415774980 end time Jan-02-10 11:43:03 PST)

He originally offered these on a VF500F Owners Group that I am also a member of. I purchased one awhile back but I haven't installed this yet - I'm thinking about removing the inner fender as well and going with a CBR600F tire hugger.

The kit is nicely made and comes with a clear set of instructions.
