whats up bro yall getting snow up there its sloeeting here alittle

 

got up (5am), looked outside (6am), roads are dry so i take the vfr :nod:
by 4pm, 2" snow, sleet then light rain. of all days NOT to check the weather online :frusty:
i get a ride home, walk to the beer store, take off my mc gear (i was dry and warm, might i add...), pop open a scrimshaw and here i am :typing:
showed my buddy the vfr slogan choices a few days ago and he liked the southeast g2g best.

 

I'm up by nashville and took the rc into town today. I didn't check the weather either... well there was a dusting of snow on the ground and it was slick by the time I got home. Next time I guess I 'll check the weather!

 

yea its suppose to nasty down here tommory with frezzing temps and rain and possible sleet

 

Sorry to hear about all that crappy weather you guys are having... that sucks. If it makes you feel better the temps got to about 77 & clear blue skies today. =) lol

 

I've been watching this thread for awhile... The gap 1st week of June, interesting... As for a name for this event, how about keeping it simple and to the point, 1st Annual VFR World Southern Rally. It's not really Eastern as Eastern is like next to the Ocean like Myrtle Beach and it's not really West of the Mississippi, but what it is is 'In The South'.

I've noticed a couple of people thinking of traveling from Upstate NY and New Hampshire, depending on the events in my area, this seems like a really nice event to attend. Maybe I can kidnap some NY/CT/MA riders from their wives to come down with me.

I didn't see a sport touring bike in that picture... Does that mean VFRs are like screwing on a couch?

how soon before a solid dat for the event is set? I would like to attend but i would need to put in for the time off pretty quickly though.
