I think he is talking about my "comic book" effect on my avatar. I was bored and broke out the photoshop. I tried to make an animated gif but ran out of time and energy.

Not a work in progress, that is what we call beer goggles. hehe. First time I caught a buzz in a while. It looked damn good at around 3 am last night ( I had the day off, so I opened a 6 pack and a photoshop tutorial )... will fix it eventually.

I was out riding around today also. Logged in a little over a hundred miles. Beautiful day.

Well, someone else will have to get the SPCA challenge. I only got one more day off for a long time, and its raining that day.
DOH. Maybe I will spend that day finding an avatar that isnt an eyesore. LOL.

I am happy with it for a minute, but it will get old soon. Thanks tho guys.
I think the effect that I was trying ( and the tutorial I was following ) is better suited for a close up portrait tho.

Give Your Photos a Retro Comic Book Effect

But, I digress. Someone out there is supposed to be at the SPCA getting a pic!

I guess since I am a photographer I should start taking photos for these contest deals, huh? And to think, there is an SPCA 2 minutes down the road from my work.

If she wasn't under a cover and homework wasn't due tonight I would :p I'll see what I can accomplish tomorrow. It is very chilly today. 53* and wind gusts up to 40 MPH. 70* tomorrow. 80*-85* Fri-Tues.

come on man 50's chilly?! ;) Just messing with ya. I know before I got decent riding gear 50 was chilly. hell I took the VFR out for lunch at work today in my jacket that I am forced to wear (and pay a few bucks each paycheck) in a refrigerated warehouse and that 50 degree air was worse than then sub 20 degree temps in my riding jacket!

It was pretty chilly this morning. Bike told me it was 37 and a ton of moisture in the air on my ride to work. 53 degrees for the hour joyride afterwards, no pics unfortunately :(

Riding in these wide changes in temp I notice a big difference in my riding style. it seems anything under 50 degrees makes me find the quickest route and I button up tightly to hold in the heat where as 65 and above makes venture out on the scenic route much more.

I had a Hawk GT (Naked bike) prior to the VFR. I'd ride in the 40's on that. With the VFR, and the spring season upon us (It's not March, barely April lol), I am being a little more picky with my riding. I'll still ride in the 50's, even the 40's if I have to, but I prefer to see at least that "6" before the temp ;-)

For riding gear, I have a 2 piece Alpinestars suit, TCX race gloves, Olympia leather/carbon fiber/Kevlar gauntlet style gloves, Under Armor cold weather face dealy (looks like a ninja lol), etc The Alpinestars suit has some perforated sections on it, more of a chilly/warm weather leather than a pure cold weather leather.

What you say does make sense with the temp changes. If it's chilly it's a A-B type ride. If it's warm, it's an A-Z type ride.
