I have two friends that I've invited and have asked for a firm commitment for July 1 but don't hold out much hope for either of them. will post July 2 if I don't get a firm yes.

You'll be a better husband and employee upon your return from your mental getaway. Feel free to use that, works for me. :)

Chome. Yu would have had sexual dreams on the Slo 2010 ride. You should really try to make it next year. I have been working on a couple of these guys to come up for our summer ride and just may succeed yet. I am ready. WHen we going, next weekend? LOL

Woah! I just checked the link in the newsletter. I was planning a route almost exactly like this for my self to go on this summer. I'd love to come along with people, my only problem is that I'm from just north of Edmonton, so I'm not sure how to go about this. Edmonton to Abbottsford, round the loop, Abbotsford to Edmonton. I'd need a bit more time off. :)

Another is, my schedule is chaotic and makes it hard to plan anything. I'll know closer to July 1st, but might not be able to get a room. Any campsites near these places just in case haha.

Anyways, I'm a 36 year old single dad, so I'm not a squid either. Be nice to make some new friends.

Hi Exo, good to see your thinking about. Feel free to take a look at the route and plan whatever you want around it. You don't need to do all 3 days if you don't want to. Especially if your coming from Edmonton to Abbotsford you will have done day 3 already. You can drink some beer, eat some wings and spend the night in Vernon with us and leave for home from there if that works. Day 2 is the best riding day, keep that in mind. We have kept that day short on purpose, you can meet us the night before for just day 2 as well and skip day 1 and 3. Whatever works for ya.

I plan to peel off at Lytton and go home to Squamish via the duffy lake road, Through whistler (on to Vancouver coming in from the North) and I think some from the lower mainland people may come along??? You are welcome to join us? Why don't you plan to meet the group at Ainsworth?

You had me at beer and wings...sniff!
Anyways, I think I'm gonna commit and cruise down to Ainsworth on Saturday (saturday right?) to meet up on that night. I'm an Alberta tradesman so who knows...I might not even be working at all by then. If so, I am like a leaf on the wind! I'll try to get some sort of reservation in Ainsworth tomorrow. Never been there so it'll be interesting.
Also, (and I'm sorry :) ), but I don't have much time to poke around on the net (hence me hardly being here) and this will probably be my first fairly long road trip. Anything that you people can think of that's a must on a longer trip? Flat repair kit? Bungie cords? I have no idea. I trust my bike and all I need is a couple clean pairs of boxers and a toothbrush!
Jason are you the person kind of organizing this? I'm gonna PM you so I have a number to call when I get there?
Thank you people. You all rock.
