OK, i am done with the condoms

    my 99 has the "condom" mirrors, which i assume are stock.

    at my local used superstore today, they had 5or6 VFRs including a 5th gen that had a set of mirrors that they thought were H-brand OEM from something else that were sans condom. looked like they belonged on it.

    seeing two 5th gens side by side with condoms and without them made me realize that i want to switch to the cleaner looking mirrors.

    anybody know which condomless mirrors fit the 5th gen?

    the 6th gen definately have a diff mounting hole spacing from the G5.

    y2k or year 200 was the first year of condomless mirrors on the 5th gen so you can get 2000 or 2001 mirrors. they run about $65 ea for oem from service honda or bike bandit...

    or you can do gixxer mirrors! doing this requires a custom mount but looks good.
