My name started in the summer before freshman year of high school and three buddies and I went to Detroit to see a Tigers game. This was at the old Tiger Stadium which holds very fond memories but anyway the dad of one of the guys was driving and brought a friend and on the way home the Ballparks were not sitting well with me and the friend kept asking who was stinking up the van. Well of course no one answers and finally I admitt guilt. The rest of the way home I kept hearing "knock it off Hoss!!!". The 8640 is for the 8 wheeled John Deere I drove to graduation. I have used this name for everything from email to bank accounts. I have even worked with people for many years that never knew that my name wasn't actually Hoss.

Kinda new with pictures so took me a bit...
These are several months old before I converted to CBR600 wheels and put some more modern rubber on her. I could take some of the VFR but I'm betting everyone knows what a bone stock 07 RWB VFR looks like. ;)

I was thinking it...but glad I didn't speak up! Nice ride. I had a 82 SECA Turbo for a while, never got it running right. It would spool up and then release all at one time. After I sold it to the guy at the bike shop, I found out that they had a problem with the air box reeds getting stiff and opening late, allowing the full boost to flood the engine at one time. It would go from no boost to full boost at about 3500-5000 rpm at random. Not cool when you don't expect it.

Got it set up real nice with a 42mm mikuni and adapted a tial wastegate running 10 psi on a fb25 rajay. Builds boost starting about 4700 rpm and by 7500 the tire used to go up in smoke but now with a 170 tire on a 5 inch wheel, the front starts to reach skyward rather quickly. Have an 82 CX500 turbo also.
Cut my teeth on 400f's. RD400's and then a 73 H2 750 Kawi. Really enjoying the VFR though. It's a bit more.... civilized. ;)

Well I am a Bills fan! Or as my daughter calls them, the Buffalos! It's pretty convenient since there aren't many of us I can use this username on all the message boards I frequent - it's never taken!

My last name Boucher, is a French name pronounced Booshay. My friends used to call me Bouche but that's French for "mouth".

Somewhere along the way, I just changed the spelling of my nickname...people still call me Boosh. I was born in '63.

It's my standard screen name, named after my first true muscle car... a '98 Jack Roush Stage 2 Mustang.

Starting in HS and for years afterwards I had spiked hair, was not real common at that time, at least in small town CT. Caused a bit of a stir when I went to school the first time with my hair spiked -- yes really. Roughly 1200 kids, so roughly 599 guys with feathered hair, and 1 guy with spiked hair. It caused a bit of a scene. When I started getting earings, it was an even bigger deal. I actually got sent home for causing a "disturbance in the learning environment" when I went to 3 earings, then again the next day when I came back with 5 ;-) When I came in with blue spike hair there was more talk and activity than if the former USSR had invaded. Sent home maybe 15 - 20 -25 times in one school year for dress code violations -- and this was in a public school.

I literally showed up for dates, and had fathers refuse to let their daughters leave with me. Heck one time when my POC car broke down and I realized I was near a friends house, not a real close friend, so I had never been over the hhouse, but still, I needed a phone, so I rang the doorbell. His mother almost wouldn't let Joe leave with me to take a look and see if he could help me get it restarted. Apparently for years afterward she would ask him, when he was going out "you aren't meeting that boy with the hair and the clothes and the..." I had made that big an impression.

Now I look like the boy, or at least old man next door. Years ago, when I would travel back east and run into teachers, or friends or even friend's parents; they wouldn't recognize me. Hair was all combed over, and all one usually fairly natural color, clothes were simple leaning towards preppy..."

my name is Amazon mainly because I am tall. People would say I'm an Amazon, and my mom would always call me it when she needed help reaching stuff on the top shelves, even if it meant embarrassing me in front of hot guys at a store. But ya, Amazon is my name, because I am an amazon

Anyone who has a knowledge of the UK bike scene in the 60s will understand the Rocker part of my user name. I was well into the cafe scene in those days. The 66 reminds me of my really bad accident in 1966 when I almost died. This also reminds me to ride with care
