That has everything to do with it.

And while I'm here, my RSV4 with no muffler.

And what it sounds like on the track with no muffler.

Just thought I'd add my red 2000 into the mix, was just a canon camera I threw into my pocket but you gotta love the cams, sometimes they are louder than the D&D which I am so glad I purchased.

I was in town so I had to behave, but I know a stretch of road and when the snow melts I go out and twist it alittle.

I just have the V&H on mine... I took it off once and rode around my first apartment complex and they called the cops on my within 5 minutes. Ohwell, just a warning. I advise to wear earmuffs when you rev it without a muffler in a 1 car garage... OUCH!

I've heard all kinds of good audio on Youtube, and the Leo Vince are some of the best sounding pipes I've heard. Weak??? Whatever. If you're saying that you musta heard a bad sound clip of one with the decibel reducers still in them....you can remove them and change the sound dramatically.
The thing some people can't seem to grasp is that LOUD is not always best.
There's a video on Youtube where some guy has brand new Staintunes, and he gutted them out, and removed the catalytic converter off his bike, and he thinks it sounds good!!! It's the shittiest sounding thing I've ever heard with $1200 worth of aftermarket exhaust on it, yet people are commenting how good it sounds.....give me a break.
The Staintunes are too raspy and they aren't smooth sounding, not to mention they're so shiny they look like crap. If I want a chrome looking bike I'll buy a Harley.
The Akrapovich sound very good too.
There's also a brand made in Hungary called Raptor, and they sound phenominal. Only thing is, I can't find a source for them in the U.S.
The Two Bros sound very good, but I won't have a system on my bike that's not utilizing both mufflers. It would drive me nuts knowing only one muffler was being used. That's the dumbest thing I ever saw.

Hello,
I'm new here! I want to show you how my vfr sounds with OEM exhaust from CBR 1000 2007.

The project is not finished yet. Next thing is to install a cbr 1000 2008+ exhaust, as the front two cylinders will go to the bottom exhaust and the back-two cylinders will go to the tail exhaust. Something like motogp

Well, right now the bike is 20 kg lighter( with battery, fuel and everything ) than stock, so I'm not too worried about 3/4 extra killos at the bottom of the bike.

Full fairings, seats, headlight, battery, fuel, oil, coolant... 212 kg, I think the original version VFR RC 36 '91 is about 230/235 full.
It's not finished yet, lots of stuff waiting to be done. This is just the first version I put together.... I couldn't wait to ride it.
We started to spam a little :D here is another video of the first start-straight pipe 4 in 2 in 1

okay ill give you 20 kilo's, it looks like you put a lot of work into it. i definitively like the idea and am not trying to put it down, just dont know why youre putting stock mufflers on, instead of say like light weight carbon cans or something. you trying to keep her quiet?

Yep, and I like the looks of those exhausts. Plus that, I have a theory that, with two exhausts the sound will be deeper, as the speed of the gases trough each exhaust will drop twice. At the same time it will not be loud.... I don't know :D will see.

I JUST put on a new muffler and have a sound file I can add to the library.

2000 VFR with stock header/cat, Micron mid-pipe and 17" Supertrapp Elite S/C muffler.
