    Hi there

Had my 750F for about 10 years and just got around to joining this site.

Second bike is a 2007 Ducati Multistrada. Both gorgeous bikes, and equally enjoyable for my preferred long distance touring (though the MTS does handle crappy Australian backroads better).

Welcome, I've read a lot of good reviews of the multistrada, although a bit odd looking in my worthless opinion. You'll find alot of useful information here and great people, stick around.

Funny our crappy Australian back roads and distance between gas stations are why I originally went for a VFR and not a 'Blade.

Good to see you finally made to vfrworld, where're you from ?

Very odd looking viewed from anywhere in front of the bike, but fortunately it's everyone other then moi that has to put up with that.

    And John451, I'm in Canberra.

The VFR is a bit battered, and I bought the Duck a couple of years ago when I pulled the her off the road to do up. Only just getting around to it. So I've got ulterior motives for joining - I want to pick your brains.

Sourcing plastics in Australia..... I've checked out some of the after market fairings but have been less than impressed with both the quality (of both the glass and the paintwork) though obviously as most are intended as race clobber, they have no pretensions.

And... my 97 750F is green. I've only seeen one other, so second hand seems highly unlikely.

I've done a search, but can't see anygthing Australian specific )or anything encouraging anywshere for that matter).

Any ideas? I realise I will probably need to start a specific thread. but may as well start here..

I LOVE the Multi - both the original and the new 1200. I think they look great and I love the upright riding position.

I definitely want to fly to OZ for some riding. Maybe we can hook up with John451 someday and to a rideabout? I will rent something, I guess . . .

You may like to also join OzVFR.net and then the mailing list, we have a couple of Canberra regulars and someone may be able to help with local Panels.
