    Hello Everyone,
I am in a bit of a pickle with this bike.
The trip meter just clocked in at 59000 miles on this bike and I have put it through some tough miles by now. Still the local honda shop keeps on insisting the valves are within spec. Seems kinda odd to me after so many darn miles.
To make things worse, I can literarly smell and taste the petrol... In my book thats called running rich. The K&N air filter has just been replaced.. :) So have the spark plugs..
So on with the question, do I have a shooddy local shop or is there something else I am not considering here?
    Much thanks,
    Dim

The best guide to whether its running rich is obviously the fuel mileage you are getting.
If it hasnt changed much you may need to look elsewhere.

That's what I would do. Check your mileage and go from there. It's common for these engines to go without need for adjustement of the valves. You should be greatful!!! That's a good savings for you.
