Went and put my eyes on it today. Bike was very very clean. The gentlemen told me he travels too much to enjoy it, so it has to go. He is a taller guy so I understand why he put the LSL bars on it, they are quite comfortable, huge difference from the factor VFR I sat on yesterday when compared to this one. I did take it for a test ride and boy did it put a smile on my face. I forgot how well liked that engine. He has the seat cowl, so that is a plus as well. He has kept it garaged since he has owned it. The tires on it are the original's, pretty good shape. The rims are not scratched or even have much of a hint of dirt on them considering the bikes age. I will be picking it up this coming week sometime, pretty excited to get back on a VFR.

Sounds like you found a really good one. Those are the kind I look for when I'm in the market for a new bike. Did he ever say what he did with the oem stuff? Congrats. Now post some pics of it.

He actually still has the OEM stuff. I think I got confused about him and another gentlemen I talked to. Still has all the OEM parts. As soon as I take ownership I will put a healthy amount of pictures :)

I actually had to pass on it. I got a little pushbback from my bank, didn't expect any since I have had 2 loans through them. So now I have to wait it out, if he still has it in a few months I plan to try again, if not, I am SOL.
