84-86 front brake rotors - some wear but are straight - $20 **SOLD**

84-85 engine case guards - new, never installed- $25 **SOLD**

Greg, front rotors and sprockets arrived today. When you said the sprockets were in good shape, you weren't kidding! That front sprocket barely has any of the finish worn off the tooth load bearing surfaces and if it weren't for the little marks around the bolt holes the rear could have been taken for never used. I appreciate the degreasing you did on the sprockets and the fact that you zap-strapped the front rotors together for shipping.

Thanks a bundle, all those parts will be put to good use!

I'd like those vented side covers, please. PM works best for me, as it's linked to my phone's email account.

Slight threadjack, the engine guards I bought don't fit MY VF500, should fit different ones with the sidestand located in a different place just fine. I was unaware that there were two different designs. They are supposed to fit a multitude of bikes actually, details available if anyone else is interested.

And that is strange, because the paperwork/packaging that they originally came with stated '84-85 fitment. I had an '86 but didn't realize the conflict until I tried to mount them and then looked at the directions. What year bike do you have?

Mine is an 85'. Yeah, I didn't even know there were two different subframe (the small removable chunk of the LH side of the frame) designs with different sidestand mount locations until someone posted up not too long ago having shifting issues because the sidestand was in the way. I too had that problem and modified the shift lever to get it away from the end of the stand. Now I can't find the thread anymore to jack the pictures of the different one.
