Just acquired a 1999 Red VFR, first post. Many years ago i owned a 1998 VFR, have had a few other bikes since, came back to one of the best bikes for me. Been busy going thru the bike as this low mileage bike has had little maintenance, totally going thru it and changing/flushing all fluids (i suspect the clutch and brake fluid was original from the looks of it, valve clearance adjust, headstock and rear wheel bearing regrease, etc etc.

stoops, there the old givi racks, the ones wear you have to remove the grap handles. i dont like them. they set the bags to wide, about 1 1/2 inches from the bike.

gotcha, I already have racks for mine, was just curious. Are those the old ones that don't require the top rack? (Reason they caught my eye)

1998 Mostly Stock VFR. GIVI hard bags. Bought it and immediately did a 850 mile tour of the Cascades and Olympic Peninsula here in Washington State. Touring the North Cascade highway next. Great way to break it in, and break in my tush.

My dad's ST1300 next to it. It's a gear driven, Honda V-four parade.

Just joined the club. Looks to be a great forum.
I just picked up a SUPER clean 99 in red 20,000 miles, from a local Suzuki dealership. The almost never take Honda's in on trade but this bike was so clean the took it in.
No pics yet, but it came with full color matching Givi hard bags, 2 brothers pipe, Givi windscreen, Corbin seat and heli bar risers.
I LOVE it, best road bike I have ever owned by far.
