With statements like "any parallel twin" methinks Old Pirelli may not quite have all his rubber on the road.

I'm convinced. I am calling the guy with the MV Agusta America with the road rash and telling him I don't want the bike for 500 bucks. Let some other sucker fight that POS. Eeek!

He possibly doesn't mean the TRX850 or your beloved old Triumphs and Nortons.

Who knows? LOL Tons of and ton capable vertical twins..BSAs, Royal Enfields and the indestructable Honda 165s. (well almost, for the 165s) ;)

Any problems as mentioned with the John Bloor TRiumphs? Rode a Thruxton a few years back. Fun..

For not so good engine design. The Ariel Square Four. Cooling problems, leaks and ignition that hunted.

Could be that old P was having nightmares or night visitations from "The Prince of Darkness".

Or can't ride, because it's a Harley and it's in the shop most of the time.
