will wrong mapon pc2 make fI light go off?

I have a 01 vfr800 and just put LED's on my bike plus remaped it but now my fI lght is coming on and it never has before,any thoughts

 

I'm with Tink on this, I doubt that the map is the issue but perhaps you have voltage issues? Check your regulator output. s/be 13.75 - 14+ volts

Don't all used VFRs come with charging issues? All mine have or they developed it shortly after getting home.

 

It could be the led kit taking to much voltage, I'm not really worried about it she runs so good after the new map and levers

 

it just blinks once or twice i'm gonna see if i didnt unhook something,when doing led

 

ok I checked everything and it's good,I think it the pc cause i tried to take off and my bike would bareley move,i'm gona take it off and use original euc

 

ok guys I went outside and started her up,still fi light coming so I grounded the led somewhere else,still fi light so i turned off the bike then took off power commander and turned it back on then no fi light,so what do i do about the power commander remap it or what?

 

Lmao I'm gonna try to sell it first and leave it on stock till i can afford a pc3 usb wich will be soon(taxes),if i dont sell then trash.

 

Have you try to unplug the led?
It cannot be bad since it ran and work fine before....

 

no I havent unpluged the Led,I talked to some shops and they said with the new map on pc2 my bike might be rejecting it and I would have to reset my fi light,and I definetly wouldn't sell something messed up I know it works good I just dont feel like playin with it anymore and searching for maps ect ect,so I'll just do stock till I can get a pc3 usb,I think it rejecting the new map
